They have the best Thai dishes and sushi. But I'm not surprised since it's the same owner as the Exotic Thais, Sushi Su, and a few ramen spots. The staff is great too! Cute ambience.

Roast and Rice Kitchen kept popping up on yelp whenever I'd look up restaurants in WLV, but I never went for it cause I was suspicious of how the food could possibly be good with so many different asian cuisines on the menu! Finally, I went with colleagues on a Thursday late afternoon. There were not many customers around. The place looks quite aesthetic with the decors and spacious enough. To my surprise, the food was better than I expected! I got the crazy yellowtail roll and fish tasted fresh. The spicy tuna was just the right amount of spicy. I also got the thai tea which seemed like an even balance of the milk and tea neither one was overpowering if you prefer that. The popcorn chicken was great, but the calamari was alright. The calamari tastes almost nothing without the sauce. Also tried the garlic edamame which was pretty good.

First time. Was not disappointed! Parking is easy in the large lot. Greeted at the door and shown to a table. Only a few other people here at 5:30pm on a Tuesday. Stylish, clean interior. Nehemiah took good care of me - suggesting some popular dishes. The menu has a great mix of everything! Fairly extensive. Many things I'd like to try in the future (Drunken Noodles, for example). He also pointed out the various "roast and rice" items. I started with the Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice. Wonderful stickiness to it. Small jalapeño slice and some avocado on top to balance it. 4 pieces to an order. Yum! Then had the Yellowtail with the spicy yuzu. My fav here so far!! The sauce is incredible. I almost placed a second order for that. Next time!! I then noticed several negi rolls on the menu, but didn't see negi toro, yet they were easily able to whip one up. Nice, but maybe I'll keep the toro as sashimi next time. On one of several chalkboards they had a couple dessert items listed. One that caught my eye was the Vanilla Crepe Cake. I was already stuffed, but how could I pass on a crepe anything?? This was delicious!!! Layers of crepe, in between which was spread a vanilla crème. Beautifully presented. Love this place!
